Westchester County Joint Reading Room
Every Christian Science church has a Reading Room. One-part bookstore, one-part library (including online access)—a Christian Science Reading Room is the perfect place to study, pray, or just chill out.
Reading Rooms come fully stocked with Bibles and Bible research materials, Science and Health (our textbook), weekly and monthly Christian Science magazines (including the Christian Science Monitor in print), and lots more. Oh, and there’s stuff for kids, too!
Our Reading Room is located in downtown White Plains and jointly maintained by the Tarrytown church and other churches in Westchester County. And if you’re wondering about parking, there’s a large public lot right around the corner.

The Joint Westchester Reading Room in White Plains, NY, will be holding Book Club meetings this Spring! Beginning April 10th at 7:30PM EST on the 2nd Thursday of every month.
- The Spring Reading will be: Unity of Good by Mary Baker Eddy

You can look forward to discussing a reading assignment from the chosen book, and sharing what you found interesting or inspiring with fellow Book Club members.
